PHYS 110 Introduction to Astronomy
An introductory study of astronomy including planets, the Sun, stars, galaxies, and cosmology. Introduction to Astronomy is a science class for the novice (i.e., for everybody whether science or non-science majors and/or engineering students) with a minimal math requirement with an emphasis placed on the presentation of the ideas and concepts from the Heavens connecting our observations to the models and theories that explain them.
