THEA 231 Contemporary British Acting Styles
This course will explore modes of performance in British and European theatre. Students will learn a basic performance vocabulary. The emphasis will be on developing physical skills and exploring the imagination. The course is taught by British professionals who are both actors and teachers. Acting is about playing as well as learning. Theatre games engage the students physically and mentally, encouraging the development of physical and vocal confidence and of social and personal skills through working in a group.
