SPAN 211 Intermediate Spanish for the Medical Prof
This course will increase students' intermediate mastery of Spanish by expanding their knowledge of intake and health-related vocabulary including medications and diseases/symptoms, having them practice grammar structures typically used in medical scenarios, and fostering meaningful practice with authentic conversations in clinical scenarios. Students will also gain an understanding of how the variety of health practices/policies in the Spanish-speaking world influence the health-related experiences of the Latino population in the U.S.
