SPAN 304 Advanced Spanish Grammar
This course will increase students' mastery of Spanish by expanding their knowledge of grammar. It is an in-depth study of grammatical and syntactical structures, functions of verb systems, and Spanish language usage that will further develop students' written and oral communication skills. Students will learn about Spanish morphology, lexicology, and syntax; more accurately understand and recognize the linguistic equivalences between Spanish and English; be able to recognize and accurately use a variety of verb forms in complex sentences; and strengthen their translation/interpretation skills.
PRQ: SPAN 207, or SPAN 208, or SPAN 220; or placement test; or permission from the instructor.
