We invite our students into a Community of Learning at Rockford University. That community includes not only the faculty, staff and students, but also the alumni, trustees, friends of the University and the larger community of the city of Rockford. The University invites our neighbors into our Community of Learning through special academic programs, events and partnerships such as those created in our community based learning program.

An important feature of the University’s website is Self-Service, which provides the learning community at Rockford University with “anytime, anywhere” access to key academic and financial aid information. Students, faculty, and staff can log on to the RU Portal (http://www.rockford.edu/portal), which connects to Self-Service and provides an additional variety of information and access to campus life, student activities, athletics, and more.
