SOCI 340 Sociology of War

This course seeks to examine the complex interrelationships between war, society, and culture. Topics may include socialization for warfare, civil-military relations, war and inequality, war and social change, and the military in a new environment. The course will utilize empirical studies and theories in the areas of social change, social movements, and military sociology.

PRQ: SOCI 150 or consent of instructor.
