EDEC 384 Health, Safety, Nutrition for Young Child

This course focuses on health, safety, and nutrition as they apply to children ages birth to eight in home, childcare, and educational settings. Topics covered will be: health routines and appraisals, personal and environmental safety, hygiene, food safety, administration of medication and medical treatments, and the impact of family and community on a child's physical and emotional health and well-being.
