EDUC 640 Equity Inquiry Cycles
This course introduces a holistic model of school assessment practices that begins on the ground level; centering the historically marginalized voices, artifacts, and assets of those impacted directly by K-12 schools. Participants will apply improvement science, descriptive statistics, and data representation to interpret and communicate findings to all stakeholders, enabling co-designed inquiry cycles as the core function of school improvement that meets the unique needs of the school community.
This course includes field experience and internship requirements aligned to the course objectives and Principal Illinois Administrative Endorsement for Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) licensure requirements.
