MEd Urban Education Leadership

The MEd Urban Education Leadership program is available to Cohorts of students in partnership and in contract with School Districts in the state of Illinois who support current educators with two or more years of successful experience in the classroom to enroll in a Masters of Education degree program with a Principal Illinois Administrative Endorsement for Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) licensure.  This program includes field experience and internship requirements aligned to the course objectives and Principal Illinois Administrative Endorsement for Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) licensure requirements.

This program prepares students to meet the requirements for the PK3-22 Principal Licensure in the state of Illinois. Individuals enrolled in this program are required to meet the objectives outlined by the National Educational Leadership Preparation (NELP) standards. These standards are embedded into each course and are listed in the program learning outcomes.
