CRMJ 321 Criminal Investigations

This course introduces students to the field of criminal investigation. Students will follow the steps of a criminal investigation, from the crime scene to the courtroom. Topics include crime scene procedures, physical evidence collection, interviews, field notes and reporting, follow-up investigation, interrogation, and rules of evidence. This course will also aid students in developing inductive and deductive reasoning skills that are needed in criminal investigations.
