EDUC 317 History of Education

(XL: EDUC 517) History of Education surveys formal schooling at the elementary through university levels since colonial times. Representative themes include: access to schools, forms of segregation, and schools' changing relationship with wider society. In addition to content, discussion and application of research skills make up a major part of the course.
