SPED 357 Math Methods: Students with Disabilities

(XL: SPED 557)  This course focuses on systematic, explicit, scientifically research-based mathematics instruction and data-driven decision making model. Mathematics topics and assessments are structured around the six areas of mathematics instruction numbers/operations, algebra, geometry, measurement, data analysis/probability, and problem solving. Candidates will also incorporate authentic data collection into instructional plans and IEP development.
