MAT
Since 1952, the Rockford University Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree has established a proud tradition as a teacher of teachers. Our MAT graduates have distinguished themselves as educational leaders throughout the nation.
MEd
Rockford University also offers educators who are interested in pursuing instructional and administrative leadership roles the option to earn a Master of Education (MEd) in Pedagogical Practice, Reading Specialist, Urban Education, and Urban Education Leadership. This degree offers theoretical coursework for teachers with ambitions beyond the classroom. Teachers can earn the MEd with no endorsement or choose from the following endorsement options: Bilingual, Early Childhood, Elementary, ESL, ESL/Bilingual, Physical Education, Reading Teacher, Reading Specialist, or Special Education.
MBA
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree began in 1980 after extensive study of the needs of the Rockford-area business community. With these needs in mind, our MBA program has become a vital and integral part of both the community and the University.
MS Data Science
The Master of Science in Data Science (MSDS) is designed to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of data analysis, programming, and machine learning techniques, preparing them for careers in various industries. MA Sport Management & Leadership
The Master of Arts in Sport Management and Leadership (MASM) extends the skills necessary to thrive in a sport-related career. This degree will give the scholar the skills to thrive in a sports-related career. The scholar will develop skills for critical thinking, interpersonal interactions, teamwork, emotional intelligence, and other leadership abilities.
MS Exercise Physiology
The Master of Science in Exercise Physiology (MSEP) is designed for individuals interested in personal health and wellness training, health promotion, and physical rehabilitation. If you desire to assist clients in reaching their peak physical wellness, then a degree in exercise physiology might be right for you. Exercise physiologists focus on promoting wellness, helping all athletes (non-professional and competitive) reach their top performance, and preventing illness and injury.
