According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the sports management industry is expected to see increasing opportunities. The BLS projects that the demand for coaches, administrators, managers, agents, and scouts will increase by 11% between 2018 and 2028. The BLS also projects that other related workers in the sports industry will grow by 10%. The Department of Kinesiology serves to advance our scholars to receive a Masters in Sport Management and Leadership. This is a 36-hour Masters program with thesis and practical projects embedded.

The Masters degree in Sport Management and Leadership extends the skills necessary to thrive in a sport-related career. This degree will give the scholar the skills to thrive in a sports-related career. The scholar will develop skills for critical thinking, interpersonal interactions, teamwork, emotional intelligence, and other leadership abilities.
