EDUC 300 Introduction to Teaching and Learning
(XL EDUC 500) This introductory course examines concepts and principles that guide teaching and learning in contemporary education settings for students considering the teaching profession as a career. An overview of the Rockford University teacher education program expectations; the State of Illinois program and licensure requirements; and the impact of local, state, and national curricular learning standards, including Common Core, will be introduced.
