XL: EDEC 565 This course explores the role of the early childhood teacher candidate in supporting emotional and social development of young children. Strategies for encouraging prosocial behavior, conflict resolution, and problem solving will be discussed. Approaches to fostering a sense of community in early childhood settings will also be examined. Scheduled: Spring, yearly. Meets: N
