EDUC 338 Measurement and Assessment of Learning

XL: EDUC 538 This course introduces foundational and theoretical concepts and practices of educational assessments in contemporary educational settings. Professional, ethical, and legal responsibilities are explored along with strategies to guide the selection, construction, evaluation, and interpretation of a variety of classroom assessment options. Emphasis is placed on the development and management of student achievement evaluation and of methods designed to improve student learning and teaching effectiveness in a standards-based system as part of a classroom assessment cycle.
