BIOL 151 Principles of Biology II

This course is the second part of the two-part introductory biology sequence required for all students majoring in biology. This lecture and lab-based course will give an overview of the diversity of living organisms with an emphasis on plants, fungi, and animals. Evolutionary theory and processes, morphology, taxonomy, physiology, and ecology are discussed in detail. Laboratory sessions will focus on solidifying the concepts discussed in lecture as well as further exploring the diversity of animal systems with an emphasis on the principle of form follow function.
