Topics and techniques for the teaching of mathematics in the K-9 classroom. Instructional topics include: numeration, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, geometry, algebra, graphing, probability, assessment, and problem solving.
PRQ: MATH 116 or 117, or consent of instructor and passing score on the Illinois Basic Skills Exam or the Test of Academic Proficiency (TAP) or the ACT Plus Writing/SAT composite.
Scheduled: Fall, spring and summer, yearly.
