ECON 329 American Economic History
(XL: ECON 529, HIST 329, HIST 529)
An examination of the historical development of the American economy. The development, maturation, and alteration of capitalism will be the focus of the course. Topics to be emphasized include capital formation, industrialization, entrepreneurship, and the evolving relationship between the public and private sectors.
PRQ: ECON 101 or ECON 102, and 3 hours in history.
