PHYE 316 Teaching Health Concepts

(XL: PHYE 516)  This course provides students with a variety of methods for teaching health concepts at the elementary and secondary levels. Included in the course are presentations, discussions, and teaching strategies on a variety of health related topics. These topics may include mental health, personal health, sexuality education, substance abuse, diseases, nutrition, injury prevention, consumer health, aging process, and environmental health.

PRQ: PHYE 220 or PHYE 222 or an equivalent teaching methods course or consent of instructor.
