Prerequisite Requirements

All tracks of the MBA require the same prerequisite (PRQ) credits. Students may satisfy (PRQ) in economics, accounting, business finance, statistics and mathematical analysis through courses completed within the past 10 years, (older PRQs may be approved by the MBA Director) with a grade of at least “C” at Rockford University or other accredited institutions or by successfully completing proficiency examinations. Student Administrative Services (SAS) can supply information on the format of proficiency examinations, online tutorials, testing procedures, and a day and time to take the examination. Students do not have to complete all the program prerequisites before enrolling in a required MBA course as long as the student meets the prerequisite(s) for the MBA course the student is registering to take.

Your successful completion of the MBA program is based upon a foundational knowledge of economics, accounting, business finance, statistics, and mathematical analysis. The following courses, or an equivalent level of work related experiences, are strongly recommended, and will help ensure you complete your MBA program at the highest possible level.
