BIOL 363 Cancer Biology

In this course, students will learn about tumor formation and progression as it relates to cell biology and genetics. They will study different types of cancer, including solid and liquid tumors, and learn how disease outcome is strongly dependent on the biochemistry and physiology of various affected organ systems. Course content will also focus largely on a variety of available cancer treatments, including chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapies, as well as promising treatment options that may become available in the future.
