PSYC 200 Research Methods in Psychological Science I
This course is required for all Psychology and Human Development majors. It will introduce students to the general process through which research methods are employed throughout psychological science. The course will encourage students to develop fundamental skills related to reading, interpreting, understanding, and communicating about psychological research through the use of critical thinking and analysis. Students will develop scientific writing skills. Additional opportunities to develop knowledge and skills related to APA style used in psychological research will be part of the course. A grade of C- or above must be earned to qualify for PSYC 300 and PSYC 354.
PRQ: PSYC 100 and RHET 102, or instructor consent.
CO-RQ: LIL 101 or LIL 102
