(18 credits)

The major theme of the Entrepreneurial program in the Puri School of Business at Rockford University is “critical thinking and experiential learning”.  Experiential learning can be defined as learning through doing and reflecting.  The entrepreneurial program is designed to integrate academic excellence, creativity, innovation, and hands on experience.  Students will leave this program with a detailed understanding of, and necessary skills, to run a small business, to launch their own venture, to take a leadership role in a venture, or to take on an intrapreneurial role in a mature organization.  Additional core capabilities acquired through their experience will include: creative and critical thinking, the ability to recognize and generate new venture ideas and an understanding of acquiring resources.
