ENGL 555 The Rhetoric of Social Change

Through a study of American essays and speeches that call for social change, students will learn and apply theories of persuasive rhetoric and consider ways they have been wielded in American society since its founding. In turn, students will hone their own rhetorical skills in making arguments for change.
