Theatre Design and Production Minor

(19-20 Credits)

The Theatre Design and Production Minor will provide students with a balanced combination of coursework and practical application in scenic design, lighting design, costume design, and stage management. Students will develop proficiencies in painting, drawing, drafting, costume and set construction, draping, patterning, drafting, and other technical skills. Students will develop diverse knowledge and skills through courses in theatre design, theatre production, and stage management. This minor is suited for anyone who is interested in the technical and design aspects of the theatre. You do not have to be a Performing Arts major.
