Nutrition Science, B.S.

(67 credits)

The Nutrition Science curriculum is built upon a foundation of natural science requirements that are complemented by core nutrition courses. This program is designed for students aiming to become an RDN (Registered Dietitian Nutritionist). It lays the rigorous groundwork essential for pursuing a master’s degree in dietetics, a pre-requisite for the RDN credential. This major prepares students interested in pursuing their ACEND Registered Dietitian certification through an accredited graduate program. As of 2024, ACEND requires students to complete a graduate program to qualify for the certification.
