SOCI 307 Corrections

Study of various programs, social structures, and administrative organizations for treating criminal offenders, as well as evaluation of their effectiveness. Analysis of criminal justice and social processes; punishment and treatment techniques; probation; parole; diversion; and correctional institutions of the future. PRQ: SOCI 295(students must earn grade of C- or above) or consent of instructor. Scheduled: Every third semester. Meets: SNO.
