SOCI 311 Organized Crime

This course will deal with issues surrounding the phenomena of organized crime. Organized crime is often misrepresented in pop culture. In this class, the student will be exposed to theories, concepts, case studies and issues relating to this topicâ€" in other words â€" the realities of organized crime. Students will also learn about the great diversity among organized crime groups, their crimes, and their organizations.
