EDUC 595 Successful Teaching for Acceptance of Responsibility (S.T.A.R.)
This course emphasizes skills that enable PK-12 students to assume responsible behavior and an increasing amount of control over their school lives. Educators will learn how to create a learning environment that models, invites, and ultimately teaches self-motivating behavior. Instructional strategies for coping with irresponsible student behavior in a respectful, productive manner will also be introduced.
