EDUC 648 Urban School Reform
In this course, students will examine how urban education has been shaped through federal and state law in the United States. Students will deepen their understandings of the ways education policy impacts practice in American public schools through an examination of school mandates and scholarly reflection, often using Illinois and Rockford as a touchstone for our inquiry and analysis.
This course is for students enrolled in the M.Ed. in Urban Education Program only.
Scheduled: Summer, yearly.
