Secondary Endorsement (Grades 9-12), M.A.T.

The Illinois State Board of Education has approved secondary endorsement programs at Rockford University in Biology, Chemistry, English, History, and Mathematics. Students must complete a minimum of 18 credits in content courses and the appropriate Education course work in secondary education to earn a Master of Arts and Teaching (MAT) degree in a specified content area.  A grade of C or higher on all education courses is required to complete the program.
