Mathematics Major, Data Science Track, B.A. or B.S.

The Mathematics major with a Data Science track is tailored to develop highly skilled data scientists through a rigorous and comprehensive curriculum that integrates mathematics, statistics, and computer science. Graduates of the Data Science track will possess a deep understanding and proficiency in various aspects of data science, including data management and integration, data structures and algorithms, data analytics and machine learning methods, data visualization and reporting, as well as a solid foundation in mathematics, statistics, and computer science. This prepares them for further graduate study in data science or related fields, equipped with the specialized skills and knowledge necessary for success in the ever-evolving field of data science.
