Forensics Minor
(20-22 credits)
The Forensics Minor is interdisciplinary and exposes students to concepts and skills of social and natural science disciplines that relate to legal matters. The Forensics Minor can be a useful supplement to a major in a variety of disciplines, including Biology, Chemistry, Criminal Justice, Political Science, Computer Science, and Psychology. A minor in Forensics will help students develop skills that will be useful in a wide range of careers.
Required Core Courses: (14 credits)
Select at least 1 of the following Biology courses:
(4 credits– includes laboratory requirement)
Select at least 1 of the following Chemistry courses:
(4 credits– includes laboratory requirement)
Electives Courses: (6-8 credits)
At least 2 additional courses in Criminal Justice (CRMJ), Biology (BIOL), or Chemistry (CHEM).
Psychology (PSYC), Political Science (POLS), and Sociology (SOCI) courses may be considered with approval from program directors and advisors.
