Early Childhood Education
The Early Childhood Education program prepares teachers for preschool, kindergarten, and the early primary grades (1-2) by providing General Education courses and professional education courses that address institutional requirements leading to a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and a professional educator license (PEL) with an endorsement in early childhood education. Students must choose from one of the following additional endorsements or approvals: Early Childhood Special Education Approval, LBSI (K-22) Endorsement, ESL Endorsement, or Bilingual Endorsement. A grade of C or higher on all education courses is required to complete the program.
