Secondary and PK-12 Education

The Illinois State Board of Education has approved secondary endorsement programs at Rockford University in Biology, Chemistry, English, History, and Mathematics, along with PK-12 endorsement programs in Physical Education and World Language (Spanish).

Students must complete a major with a minimum of 32 credits and the appropriate minor course work in secondary or PK-12 education, in addition to satisfying the all-university General Education requirements and general education state licensure requirements.  A grade of C or higher on all education courses is required to complete the program.
