SPED 355 Assistive & Instructional Technologies

XL: SPED 555 This course focuses on meeting the needs of students with disabilities using technology and assistive technology. Further, an overview of the types of assistive technology available to enhance learning outcomes and performance of students with mild, moderate, and severe disabilities is provided. In addition, the course provides an overview of strategies for incorporating technology, resources, and other media into instruction. Students will be exposed to assessment tools to best determine adaptive equipment needs and a general understanding of how equipment operates.
